AUNT TIFFANI!!!!
Charlotte is in love with Tiff! The Toth's arrived last night, and Charlotte is obsessed with Tiffani. She wants to sit in her lap, wants to be held by her, wants to eat dinner in her lap, etc. I think she's jealous of Jonah - but, it is his mother after all! Charlotte was really shy when they arrived yesterday evening, and then all of a sudden she held her arms up to Tiff. And then wouldn't let go. Tiff, Toby, Brian and I got the wonderful idea to take the kids out to dinner a little after 8:00, when they normally go to bed at 8:00. So, needless to say we laughed while the kids cried during dinner! Poor kiddies :) But, Charlotte wanted to be on Tiff's lap - as did Jonah (righfully so), so Tiff had both kids!! No Daddy, certainly no Mommy, and she wanted the curly hair kid out of the picture :)
Thank you to Aunt Jill for our very cool new cell phones!! We're going to crack open the bubbles tonight.

Cedar Point
Last Saturday, we went to Cendar Point with my Firm (amusement part in Northern OH for those of you that don't know - or if you think there is only Kings Island! haha!!). It was blazing hot, and borderline miserable, but we still had fun! Charlotte was a good girl and loved seeing the sites - we stayed about 4 - 5 hours and she was a trooper - probably would have outlasted Mommy and Daddy if we let her! Towards the end she started resting her head down on her stroller tray, but then would quickly pop back up - to not miss a beat! We saw a Snoopy show on ice (where Mom wanted to sit through two shows to stay in the air!), took a boat and train ride, rode the Merry-Go-Round, and pet some goats. Needless to say she went to bed early that night! Below are a few pics:

Mommy's Girl
I had a big work event this week (over a course of three days), which meant little time with my girl - and I hate it! But, this morning, she snuggled with me in bed, and held my neck tight while playing with my hair while sharing my pillow (she loves playing with my hair!), and there's nothing better than snuggling with Mommy's Girl! Except snuggling with you honey... :) She was awake, but snuggling me - it was the sweetest thing - she was being "gentle" and giving me kisses. Today, Mom and Grandma watched her, while Brian and I worked (had my last event of the week), but she was still my girl when I got home! Which is a very special treat since we all know she's Daddy's Girl!! She was loving on me, hugging me, and telling me hi non-stop. Giggling, sitting on my lap, and just being adorable. Oh, and she was listening very well too! Which is a big thing these days. I just love my Mommy's Girl (uh... Daddy's Girl).
Charlotte is going through a sweet lovey phase! She gives her animals kisses all of the time, as well as us. And she blows kisses non-stop. She's now "trained", only we didn't really train her purposely... we blow kisses when we said good-bye, and now she will blow kisses before you're even out the door! Blowing-kisses while saying "Bye!". This coupled with her affinity of saying hi to everyone in sight has her newly crowned as the Welcome Wagon at school! Important job :)

The Paint Master Arrived!
Brian's Dad came up for a visit last weekend! We had a great time, relaxed, hung out with the babe, went to the Rocky River Brewing Company - and he managed to paint half of our lower half and half bath!! I have no idea how he does it so fast - and without tape! But, he does it great! Oh, and Charlotte can saw Paw Paw with prompting :) Brian taught her that trick just in time :)

Surgery and Ice Cream
It was suggested to me today that I should write a blog (thank you, Gina!). So, okay - I'll start one. I told Brian "Honey, I'm going to start a blog!" Thinking he would be so proud of my efforts in documenting the moments of our life, I told him with excitement that I would start tonight! He said I would need subscribers (in the back of my head I'm suddenly tossed back to Field with Dreams - 'if you build it, he will come'), and then he said, "And you will also be sure to tell everyone that your husband is doing all of the work so that you can keep up with your blog?"
Today was a big day - our little Charlie Girl got tubes!! She was such a good girl. I as anxious (what's new?), but also knew that it was routine and would take all of fifteen minutes. One parent goes back with the child while they put the baby under. I thought Brian would be the better parent - he is much more calm in these situations. After they went in, I immediately went to the waiting room and got on my blackberry knowing that time would quickly pass - he came out and was upset - it was hard to watch his baby girl go through that! I told him to check his email and that it would quickly be over - I juts had to keep my mind busy! As predicted, the pedi ENT came through moments later, and she did fine. We were able to go back and see her.
She didn't want to quite come out of being under - I believe "feisty" was the word the nurses chose. That is a side effect of the medication (anger, thrashing, screaming, etc.), but somehow I knew this was our little girl, and that this was a good sign - she would be back to normal in no time!! About an hour later, we were able to go home.
After a long car ride of being zonked out completely, Brian and I tiptoed into the house, and got everything comfy - everyone we know (friends, doc office, etc.) prepared us for this long nap... all conversations went something like this "Oh, they just take this ridiculously long nap for 4 - 5 hours and then when they wake up, they are starving and ready to go!". So, we got her comfy, turned on the Wiggles, and was ready to settle down - Charlotte wanted to play. And she played for the next several hours. I was sure she was tired, so I laid her down - and she proceeded to talk to herself for the next hour. So, we went for a walk - surely that would tucker her out! (not to mention mom and dad thought they would be doing a little work at home during this time - where's this huge nap everyone spoke of?) After the walk, she finally slept for two hours. I'm telling you that girl does not want to miss one moment!! Brian made her favorite meal (Johnny Marzetti) for dinner, and then we went for ice cream. First time she had it and she loved it!
Started with surgery and ended with ice cream! Not bad for a Tuesday!
